The 2nd Annual Crowman Jam Caribbean Cruise
Feb 19th - 24th, 2018 | Benefitting Cook Children's Child Life Zone
Join Mike "Crowman" Crow from 92.1 HANK FM radio on this amazing 5 night cruise from Galveston, TX. to the Western Caribbean on the fun cruise ship, The Carnival Valor. During the cruise, you will be entertained by several great "Texas Country" artists including Tommy Alverson, Max Stalling, Phil Hamilton and Blacktop Gypsy at two private shows and many of you will also get the chance to perform on stage during the Crowman Jam At Sea. You will not only get a chance to listen to these wonderful artists but you will get to meet them personally and get to know the people behind the music. This cruise event is not a ship wide event and the amount of guests will be limited. We want you to be able to get to know these great artists on a more intimate level and we feel this will be the perfect combination for that.
Tommy should be the permanent face of the independent Texas country music movement. He embodies all the hallmarks of the sound, and the mind-set. Alverson is Lone Star proud. He's artistically beholden to nobody but himself. He loves Americana music, that decidedly Texas blend of country, swing, Tex-Mex, Southern rock, folk and blues. He writes songs, but also has no qualms about recording good material from somebody else's pen. He's made a living playing music his way.
Texas based songwriter, Max Stalling, had no expectation of ever being in the music business. “I didn’t even pick up a guitar until graduate school,” notes Stalling. After attending high school in South Texas, Stalling studied at Texas A&M - College Station, where he earned a masters degree in Food Science. Stalling's style is modern with a vintage feel. His unique voice and amusingly clever song lyrics pull him in a different direction - a direction most obviously evident in his newest record Home to You. Visit Max's website here www.maxstalling.com
Phil Hamilton’s music has been a staple in the Texas music scene for over 7 years and has made his mark with powerful songs and a captivating show to back it up. Hamilton signed his first deal with Winding Road Music and from the first record, Nothing To Lose yielded his first single landing in the top 15 on the Texas Music charts. This debut album also delivered the follow up hit “Nine Mile” shortly after.
Andie Kay Joyner and Heather Stalling had to experience life before they felt ready to write about it. When they met in the early 1990's, both were already accomplished musician/vocalists. Stalling was an award winning fiddler, coming off a two-year run as a support player in Branson, MO. Joyner was still a teenager, but had sung in front of thousands of people at countless performances. Each had grown up in musical families that exposed them to bluegrass, folk, and traditional country music.
